I haven’t written about the cats in a while. While our first kitty Eris clings tenaciously to her position as the queen of the household, Freyja has infiltrated our hearts by her general cuteness and typical-pussness. Other than the early heat that she experienced shortly after the New Year (yikes!)
1, she’s been a welcome addition to our household. So rather than yammer on, here are a few pix. You’ll notice the dearth of Eris pictures. That’s because she’s a grumpy-puss who doesn’t like her photo taken.
Stretchy kitty.

Scanner kitty.
Bass kitty.
Learned kitty.
VAC kitty #1.
VAC kitty #2.

Pants kitty.

Yikes, the BH's scar looks pretty impressive. Of course, the cat doesn't look very impressed; cats never do.
Re: Eris - Have you tried sneaking up on her while she's sleeping, or is she too alert for that?
That's not even the most prominent scar! Freyja has actually been pretty good about it. She's almost always present for dressing changes and just sits next to the BH to keep her company.
As for Eris, taking a picture isn't a problem, but everytime I do she just looks annoyed and decidely un-cat-like, i.e. not aloof.
See, I consider this kind of thing one of the general problems with cats. My digital camera is now full of stupid cute-cat pictures! It also costs a fortune in AA batteries. Stupid cats being all... KAWAII! and shit.
The first thing i noticed in this picture was a cat near your wound. Read a little on Toxoplasmosis. Probably why you didnt heal. I got it as a young boy when my sister had a cat.
